Is your treatment safe for young children?

Yes. Our process is 100% chemical-free and relies on manual comb-outs. It is safe for children of all ages, including toddlers and infants, as well as individuals who are pregnant or have sensitive scalps. We use NitFree Terminator lice combs, lice shampoo, and a dimethicone oil treatment. Dimethicone oil is a silicone-based polymer commonly used in cosmetics and personal care products for its smoothing and conditioning properties. It's a thick substance that coats and immobilizes the lice, making them easier to comb out.

How long does a treatment take?

Most treatments take 60 to 90 minutes, depending on hair length, thickness, and how long someone has had lice. Individuals with thicker hair, longer hair, or heavy cases may take longer.

Do I need to wash all my bedding and furniture?

Nope! The good news is that lice can't survive for more than 2 days off the human head, so a full household decontamination is not necessary. Focus on drying or freezing items that came in contact with the head in the last 3 days. We'll provide a checklist at the end of your appointment.

How is in-home treatment different than treatment in a clinic?

Our in-home treatment is the same professional manual method that many clinics offer.

The main differences are:

Location: Our in-home service comes to you.
Privacy: Complete privacy in your home, versus coming to a public clinic location.
Convenience: Better for families with multiple children or busy schedules.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Before your appointment, please wash and dry your hair, avoiding any conditioner or leave-in products, and detangle it as much as possible ahead of time. Set up a comfortable chair near a window or another bright light source, and have all household members who may need a check gathered and ready. If children will be checked, it also helps to have some entertainment on hand to keep them occupied.

What if I find lice after a treatment?

Our service comes with a 100% guarantee. If you find any lice within our guarantee period (4 weeks), contact us immediately. We'll return to retreat at no additional cost.
